Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 10, 2026 · Last updated: May 10, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CalyxBox LLC ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the TurboBatch marketing website and application (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use a site. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser.
2. The cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be turned off without breaking it.
- Session cookie (PHP
PHPSESSIDor similar) — keeps you signed in after login. Expires when you close your browser or sign out. - Local storage — remembers your preferences (e.g., 12/24-hour clock preference) so the app's UI stays consistent between sessions.
- Stripe cookies — set by Stripe on the checkout and customer-portal pages to detect fraud and process payments. Required only if you upgrade to a paid plan.
2.2 Functional
We currently do not set non-essential functional cookies on TurboBatch.
2.3 Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 on the public marketing pages and the signup funnel (login, register, forgot-password, contact-support) to understand how visitors find and use the Service in aggregate. Google Analytics sets cookies starting with _ga and _ga_* in your browser; these expire after up to 2 years.
What we receive: page views, referrer, approximate location (country/region), device type, and browser. What we do not send: any personally identifying account data, your email address, names, or anything from inside the authenticated app — the application itself does not run Google Analytics.
To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use any browser-level tracking-prevention feature (Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, or any uBlock-style extension).
2.4 Advertising
We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, clear cookies on exit, or disable cookies entirely. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to TurboBatch or completing a payment.
